It is important for surgeons to maintain and update their surgical skills. Smith & Nephew in association with the Orthopaedic Hospital Speising offers this mini instructional course to achieve this objective by providing an opportunity for paediatric orthopaedic surgeons to visit a world-class limb reconstruction unit. The programme will provide the opportunity for observation and instruction in the application and indications for the TAYLOR SPATIAL FRAME™ method.

Learning objectives
To increase the surgical skills of the participants in the use of the Computer Hexapod Orthopaedic Device, the TAYLOR SPATIAL FRAME™ in treating various orthopaedic conditions.

Participant profile
Participants are expected to have experience in the use of circular fixation devices, e.g. Ilizarov and the TAYLOR SPATIAL FRAME™. This course is aimed for surgeons with special interest in limb deformity and paediatrics.
